School Fit-Out for Private and International Schools
Riyadh's private and international school sector is growing quickly, and many new schools open in buildings that were not built as schools — converted villas, commercial blocks and mixed-use developments. A school fit-out turns that space into classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports and dining areas that will meet Ministry of Education licensing and Civil Defense requirements, and last under a full timetable.
Typical scope on a school fit-out:
- Classroom layouts sized to the student capacity you are licensing for, with acoustic ceilings and partitions between teaching spaces
- Science laboratories with chemical-resistant benching, gas, water and fume extraction
- Separate circulation, entrances and facilities where boys' and girls' sections share a site
- Fire alarm, emergency lighting and escape routes designed for occupancy by children
- Durable floors, wall protection and washroom fittings chosen for heavy daily use
- Data, Wi-Fi and interactive display infrastructure in every teaching space
Existing schools usually need the work done in the summer break, which leaves about ten weeks for strip-out, first fix, finishes and commissioning. We plan and order materials in the spring so work can start the day term ends.
